our philosophy

PocketCoach was born out of an internal drive to make the world a better place, starting with the workplace. For 30 years we have been inventing things that make interactions between people smoother, because we know how often things go wrong and how much suffering it causes. It turns out that clashes between impulses lead to mutual noise and unwillingness or inability to understand each other. And that the consequences of these clashes can be greatly reduced by following a few smart tips.

With PocketCoach we want to provide managers with these tips so that communication with employees improves and, from the employee's point of view, there is more respect or appreciation for the manager. So that people respect each other and feel more comfortable with each other. As a result, they spend less time not understanding each other or (unconsciously) working against each other, and commitment to the team and the organisation grows.

Those who lead wrongly create a negative atmosphere in which negative behaviour becomes visible. Each drive has its own style of negative behaviour. You can tell which drives are dominant by their negative behaviour. Someone who grumbles that they are only going to do what is in the job description is revealing their blue drive, someone who gossips and blackmails is revealing a green drive.
